WASHINGTON, DC (Jan. 20, 2005) – Coast Guard Auxiliary members Pete Delaney of Flotilla 14-04 (l) and Falk Kantor of Flotilla 7-10 (r) keep a sharp lookout on Inauguration Day, while aboard Coast Guard owned, Coast Guard Auxiliary operated Vessel 275917, patrolling the Potomac River. Braving snow and frigid temperatures in the teens, with wind-chills of zero-degrees, 58 Coast Guard Auxiliarists augmented Coast Guard Station Washington, DC, during Presidential Inauguration events over a nine day period, conducting patrols of the Potomac River and performing radio watchstanding duties at the Station.
