NEW YORK CITY, NY - (May 21, 2008) - U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) members from DC, NJ and PA and Marines of the Sixth Marines, Second Marine Division from Camp Lejeune, NC, render honors aboard the U.S. Navys amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD-3), as the Guided Missile Destroyer USS Nitze (DDG-94) passes to port, with Sea Cadets from VA and DE embarked. Both ships were part of the 2008 Fleet Week Naval Parade of Ships. The USS The Sullivans embarked Sea Cadets from NY and NJ; while the USS Letye Gulf embarked Sea Cadets from MD.
